2 simple questions!!!

Umm whats the difference between a 95-96 catback and a 97-99 catback. Becuase the one I want right now is only for 97-99. Also I reading somewhere that when you drop your car, just to be safe, you need to use camber plates? Can someone explain why?

1) not shure but I think the piping is bent a little different

2) when you drop your car lets say lower than 2", your camber will be off so the plates will let you be able to allign the car to the proper spec. too much camber will make the tires look like this /--\

1. Is the piping that much different, I think I read somewhere that its only a little longer, can someone enlighten me about this.

2. Oh that sucks, ya I have seen cars with the tires all tilted sideways, is that a bad thing? That should help with turning corners but what about going straight? Also if you don't go 2 inches do you need camber plates?

You don't necessarily need to use camber plates - you can get camber bolts from southwestautoworks.com for a tenth of the price, and they do the job.

Take it from me - if you drop 2" or more (Sprints/Ground Controls), you MUST use camber bolts/plates and you MUST get your car aligned.

I didn't, and had to buy new tires within 6 months ($800), then my passenger side axle went out ($185, installed myself) and now I have a F'ED UP vibration when accellerating that I'm thinking is also attributed to this.

Spend the $$$ on the bolts and alignment, or you'll be VERY sorry.

Have you had any trouble with the camber bolts moving after being installed? Other people have complained that the Eibach camber bolts slip over time.

Does anyone know if the Ingalls bolts are any different?

I've only had them for 2 weeks - no slippage yet.
