top speed

hi there...i want some comments about my top speed...so leave it dudz...my top speed for my max 95, 130,000 miles with frankencar intake is 127mph at 4200....y tried to get more fast but nothing happen...always the same. When my car was stock the top speed was the same 127 mph so what do you think?...the intake didnt help to get more top speed. i dont know if is the old engine...or what, i have already reset the ecu a few weeks ago when i installed the intake. I hear some guz that got 140-up is the max...

Nice and stock

Well... it's all stock. Nothing was done to it. I was just on the free way back from the air port and my right foot felt heavy... very heavy. I think I had maybe... 1/3 tank of regular fuel(87 octane.)

Re: Nice and stock

87 octane! Holy bajeezmos, Batman! Your motor must have been cursing you like crazy at 127 mph! Always use 91 or better octane if you want maximum (pun intended)performance from your engine.

If you want to use 87 octane fuel get another car. Maximas only like 91 and up.

87... yeah... I know...

*sigh*... yeah... I know... I used 87 octane... but that's only cuz I was poor (Only 1/3 out of $5) coming back from the airport, and I wanted to make sure I got home... all the way home. Of course I use premium, at other times. And nah... this is my only screen name on here.
