Twin Turbo Info

Toysport Nissan Maxima Project<----Click Here to read about their twin turbo project Maxima.

Toysport is an excellent Toyota Tuner, but they do work on other japanese cars. I'll try e-mailing them about their maxima project to see if I can get more info on it. I'll keep ya posted.

Twin turbos for a Maxima are kind of like G spots on a woman. Some people have claimed to have seen one, but I don't believe it.

Actually, while not practical, and not nessesary, there IS room under the hood of a 4th gen to squeeze in a couple smaller turbos. If it can be done with one and keep the batter up front, there should be (bairly) enough room for two. I still dream about pulling it of once I get my emma back, but jsut because I can get two free t25s out of a Z of a freind. (Note, this doesnt mean I am or can, just that I dream about it.)

Oh ya, the G-spot does exist. Just ask my girlfriends....

seen it, or found it?

Because if you were to see it with your eyes.........i htink it'd be quite painful.

then ask them if you've found it, and you'll get 2 different answers.

Um, well, since I've had to be the one to show them, and you can kinda tell when you hit it, It's there, and it does exist. Funny thing is, finding the G-spot is very simple. In fact you really almost have to try not to find it in order to avoid it. Which brings me back around to the twin Turbo thing. As with finding and using the G-spot, TTs can be used if you use the K.I.S.S. method.

Does anybody have a list of parts and tools I'll need to do a rear-wheel drive conversion? It's the first step to my twin-turbo "project"....

LOL

I've seen a vq30dett. It is on the current issue of super street. It was inside of a skyline competing in the jgtc circiut in japan.

actually, i think this has been brought up before: the whole skyline engine into a maxima deal. I wish the search function still worked. Anyway, if i rememeber correctly, the problem was that the engine was configured for a right-hand drive car, and converting it to left-hand drive would be so expensive, it wouldn't be worth it.

Are you sure that's not a RB26DETT?? It's an inline six and is far different from a vq30de.

like i said, i wasn't sure exactly why it wouldn't work. try checking the FAQ, or have someone who has access to search to find out about it.

really? i was always under the impression there was no such thing as an LHD skyline because of the way the turbos were placed in the engine bay and that was the reason (among a few others) that non of the previous gen Skylines ever made it over

There is a company in northern CA (I think) that will convert a skyline to LHD...and i found the link: http://www.motorex.net/faq.html#1

But seriously, at $95,000 US for a brand new skyline + shipping/customs costs + converting it to federal standards.....then on top of all that a sh1tload of money to convert it to LHD?

And i know everyone's saying, well i can just get a used one. No thanks. I want one that hasn't seen traffic, that hasn't been raced before, that hasn't been abused in the least.....a virgin, so to speak.

And then you say, well, i just won't have it convertewd to meet federal guidelines, and just register it as a full on race car. Well sure, you could do that. But if I had a skyline, i'd want to drive it everywhere, show it off, and smoke those little ricer ***s with GT-R emblems on their hondas. Plus, if you get caught driving a registered race car on city streets the fine is astronomical, and you'l be lucky if you don't get it towed.

As much as i'd like to own a skyline (hell, i've had wet dreams about the car), It all comes down to money. Besides, by the time i have enough money to afford a new car, I'll be able to get a 350Z real cheap, and i'll mod the **** outta that.

I don't think motorex does LHD conversion, they just make it US legal as far a safety and emissions go
