How does one remove the clutch slave cylinder?

I have a problem similiar to MaxVQ where my clutch hose is leaking between the master cylinder and slave cylinder. I bought the replacement hose, but I cannot get the slave cylinder out. Everyone makes it seem easy, but the left bolt (14mm) for the slave cylinder is blocked by the engine. The only solution I can see would be to use crows feet, but I never saw anyone mention them.

TIA.

You have to use an open ended wreanch to get to it. I've had to pull it twice as I've replaced my clutch and also the carrier bearings for the diff. It takes a long time, but you can get it off that way.

As said by Jdawg, you need to use an open-ended wrench. You can only turn it maybe 1/4 a turn each time. Granted it will take a while, it is the only way to do it.....

Using a 14mm wrench didn't work at all for me, so I ended up buying Crows feet so I could use my breaker bar. I also can't believe the engine blocks the use of a socket. If I had to do it again I would replace the 2 lengths of hoses with a stainless steel brake line.
