interior stains

last night i spilled sprite on my passenger seat
(nearly a whole 20 oz) and i didnt think it would get so bad so at the earliest chance i got i wiped it with a wet cloth. This morning i look at the seat and i have this nasty looking orange colored stain. i tried shout! , oxy clean and alot of scrubbing to get it out but no luck. I did a search on what to do and i saw a thread on something called folex. the guy said somethin about it being 32 dollars for the big bottle. I want to know if anyone has experience with this product, or if anyone knows of a product which is a lil cheaper. Thanx guys

Do you know anyone with a carpet steam cleaner or a car wash with one? That's what I use on mine, and it will get all kinds of soda stains out (except red type sodas). You can also use "Tuff Stuff" foaming cleaner, found at auto stores. It's in a yellow and red can, and works really good. It evens gets coffee stains out of my beige floor mats. Good to keep in the trunk. Also, once you do get it out, I'd treat all your fabric with Scotch-Gard (several light treatments beat 1 or 2 heavy treatments). That makes the next clean up so much easier. I also keep 2 white cotton hand towels under my passenger seat for those emergencies (I have 2 kids, you'd be amazed at what I've had to clean). And baby wipes in a ziploc bag are always in my glove compartment, even though my kids haven't crapped themselves in years. Hope this helps.

Dave

I have an interior cleaner from armor all, you can get at any auto parts store. It says its used for carpets, fabrics, dash, etc. It works GREAT! It removed all the stains in my carpet and seats just by spraying on and scrubbing a little bit. Recommended

Yes, i have used the Interior Cleaner as well, the red can with the scrubber on top, and after a few sprays and scrubs, it made my blackish beige floor mats beige again, i hightly recommend that. Also, try perhaps one of the best and cheapest cleaners on Earth today, Greased lightning!!

You can pick up the Bissel steamer at K-Mart and Wallmart for like 40 bucks. It's worth it even just for one use!!!!!
