Locking Automatic?

I thought only the 5 speed tranny had the limited slip differential?

Doing research for the 130/35 forum FAQ I found that my pevious ideas on the VSLD may be wrong. For the 96-97 I30 the VSLD was optional for the "S" and "L" model and standard for the "T" model. In either auto or manual trans. The same source also states that the VSLD is only optional with the heated seats. Which does not seem right because I know I30 w/ no heated seats and VSLD????
So it seems that VSLD could come on any I30. Manual or auto.

You can get an VLSD from a I30 i had this done in my max. You do need new axles and you dont need a "tranny computer" i dont even think our cars have one anyways. Cost me about 700 installed. Works well for the track and in the winter. Brian

Infinity tranny

i wouldn't say that i blew mine it just started to slip i was told that i could have it repaired for much cheaper but i decided not to go that route cause i was planning on keeping the car for quite awhile. I have a valve body modification installed in the car also the new tranny works well especially living in C.T. and traveling to NY for the winter the lsd is so much better i the winter it makes ahuge difference for me also getting a good launch with minimal wheel spin is much improved i like it a lot didnt cost much more either just had a little problem finding other than that no complaints.
