Please help - Passenger Seat Back Pocket Falling Off

I am considering purchasing a 97 Max SE and the only thing wrong with it is the pocket on the passenger seat which is falling off. The seller suggested that I go to the dealer to get clips to reattach it. Does anyone know if this is accurate? He's knocking off $100 from an already cool price, and I don't think it will cost that much to repair but I just want to know it can be fixed. Thanks.

easy fix. theres a few plastic snaps that are behind it so all you do is pull the pocket off and replace the snaps with new ones and snap it back on the seat back. Theres also two metal hooks that are back there so maybe fix those if they are broken or missing.

Hmm, I had a similar problem with my driver's side panel falling off. I found that when I had an airbag sensor in the seat replaced under warranty a year before, the dealer tech apparently just ripped the panel off instead of removing it properly. I found that one of the plastic clips on the bottom had been torn out of the cardboard, and also one of the metal hangers on the top was torn out as well. Of course the tech just stuck it back on to hide the damage, and it did hold for a year with 2 of the 4 clips holding it on. Since a year had passed, I had no case to make the dealer pay for the thing, so I had to replace it myself. It seems that there is a 'proper' way to remove the panel (pry out the bottom first, then lift up to disengage the metal hangers on the top), but even doing that, it looks to me like the plastic clips are not re-usable (new ones are cheap though).

He wants $7500.00, which I think is great. Clean title, excellent condition, fully loaded. But I will have my brother check out the ECU code because the service engine soon light was on when I test drove.
