Question about cheapo short throw

There is a guy on ebay selling STS for 17 bucks.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1876746724

What do you guys think? I checked his feedback and people who bought STS from him said is a good product.

You might have just found a "gem." For $16, try it out and see how you like it. If you hate it, re-sell it on eBay.

Not sure about all 4th gens, but my shifter is not straight like the one shown. Mine has a bend that sits the shifter closer to the driver side. If you get that sts, your hand will be closer to the passenger.

The shifter (pic) that is on the auction is the same pic he uses for all STSs he sells. So who knows what the real one looks like...

For the price of admission, I'd say it's worth a shot.

If you see a pile of positive feedback, too, that doesn't hurt either.

I'm sure you could always Ebay it & make your $ back at that price, if you decide you don't like it.

You may have found a viable competitor to the other STS vendors, here.

Be the guinea-pig & report back. You'll earn the respect and admiration of your fellow Maxima enthusiasts for your bold, pioneering effort!

someone already beat him to it. I'd hate to say "do a search" cuz "STS" is only 3 characters long...maybe try searching for "ebay". I forgot what the person said. I know for the Altimas, the ball pivot was too small and was an issue. If the manufacture is like every other STS maker out there, the maxima shifter is the same as the altima is the same as the sentra.... so maybe you'll have problems too.

Well, if you've got $ to burn, go ahead. I think I'm about ready to prototype KartBoy.com STS for 3rd, 4th, and 5th gens (each gen will get their own shifter)
