stock vs. modded

What do you guys think looks better? A super clean stocker, or a super clean modded car? My car needs some body work, and I'm in the process of "restoring" it. However I'm not sure if I wanna get a bodykit or other stuff like that, or just lower it, get other Nissan rims (99+ Quest SE rims) and leave it. What do you think?

Depends a lot on the car, color, trim etc. I think the Titanium Silver SE-Ls can be left alone, they are gorgeous, but any other light-colored Max look better modified IMO.
