Question abotu rear brake assembly

I have to replace all my lug nut studs on the rear and to do that the rear brake assembly must come off so I can get the rotor off. Can I remove the rotor simply by removing the two 17mm screws that hold the caliper bracket in place and taking the entire asemlby off? or do I first need to remove the caliper and them remove the caliper bracket. I looked at the brake dissassemble procedure and it seems like I can take off the caliper bracket with the caliper still attached. thanks in advance for your help.

Kev

yea remover those 2 bolts and also the bolt holding the brake line to the suspension and the whole capiler assembly will come off the roter. actually pretty simple when you examine it. good luck with the studs.

Thanks! I'm prolly gonna get the same H&R spacer kit you got. It's better then the spacer I have becuase it let's the rim rest on the center of the hub instead of just the lugnuts. Question, why do the instructions have people take off the caliper first instead of the just the entire caliper assembly?

You should have any problems with it since its pretty easy to do. Just remember to take the parking brake off or you will be wondering why they wont come off.
