hi there, well after some english problem to explain my problem i took my car to nissan shop, they are very good shop and honest about the price...well...they drain the tranny oil with a special machine form MOC, and they clear the transmission 3 times...put a new cleaner and trans. fluid.....the fluid was almost black...they told me that the nissan maximas, has to make the change of the full oil every 30,000 miles to avoid demage on the tranny...my car right now runs ok and smooth...so thanks a lot for all the help

 

just curious, how much did you pay for all that? (Parts, flush, and labor)

 

Reccommended service nterval is 60,000

Theoretically, if you spend $40 and get a transmission cooler, you hardly ever have to replace it. (120,000 miles)

well the cost was 110 dollars...i pay 30 dollars fot the 12 bottle of tranny fluid, and 60 dollars for the rest of the work.

i didnt think..that is extremely important to be careful with the tranny fluid and other oil stuff

 

Don't follow the service interval for an auto tranny in a Maxima. I had a complete flush and fill done at 23,000 miles. If you wait 60,000 miles on most Jap cars, you'll end up with a much shortened tranny life.
