{How do you get a Sponsor

As you all know it is very hard to pay for parts and still live a normal life style for most people. So I was thinking on how to get a sponsor, this I dont know. Does any one else know how?

First, what do you want to do with your car? Is it a show car or race car?

To convince sponsors to help you out, you have to convince them that you can help them. You do that by showing or racing your car first and proving yourself. Sponsors want good exposure of their product and someone who tells other folks about their product or acts as a good ambassador for their company. ie not a hothead.

When you are in that position you do up a Sponsorship Proposal and send it to your prospective sponsors.

It should include pictures of your car, your backgound, accomplishments to date, your commitment to them, your goals and current sponsors if any.

Thats pretty basic but mostly what they are looking for. Try and look at it from their standpoint, what can you do for them.
