spining gears after ACT Clutch :)

hey guys i just broke the 500mile mark and i geat mad wheel hop (ACT Street Clutch)(Still have chatter tho ) and i even get wheel hop in 3rd gear? i replaced my upper trans mount to a factory one? whats wrong? u guys think i should replace my lower mounts? casue i don't have money for ploy. mounts. so i wanted to test out my new clutch so i spin first till 3,500RPm(wheel hop) and spun 2nd (no wheel hop) 10 car lenghts (6,000). i was like omg and i still had 3rd to go.

don't just keep your revs pegged high and dump it hard into the next gear, rev-match somewhat (you cant do perfectly if you are racing) but rather - let the next gear engage then get on it again.. this is what i learned I must do for 2 reasons - abuse to my car, but greater than that, I sit there and spin forever and ever if I just try and bang the gears at redline dumping it into the next.. let off the throttle just briefly as you shift! should take care of your traction issues.

definitely try replacing at least the right mount (it's the mount closest to the firewall...aka rear mount). If you can't do that, try to do poly urethane fill until you can afford new mounts. Also, if you're gonna abuse your clutch like that, you should definitely consider getting poly mounts or you'll just waste the Nissan rubber mounts.

good luck dood! i'm in the same boat as you...act clutch installed last week, drove 600miles of street and hiway...but not doing any clutch dump till i replace or at least poly some mounts. have fun!
