Would the clear altezza housing fit over the 95/96 black housing? If it did would it be possible to just paint it red and use one bigpiece of fluorescent light cover behind the lens? My friend finally got his altezzas he had on his 96 open to paint the chrome white and it got me thinking this, that maybe people with alezzas that wanted r/c's could save a bit more time rather than cutting plexigass.

 

i thought about this before i converted my car and the cost is just too much. to buy altezzas (~$150) then sacrafice both stock and the altezzas for somthing that MIGHT work.........nah. I decided that a conversion was the more cost efftive route and it also looked better.....just my $.02

 

also......why do this anyway, you have a 97??

Mad dhan: Yes i have a 97, but hacim105 has a 96 and he wants red/clears and has altezzas.
