People with sprints and cold weather...

Do you guys feel like the ride is ever worse. Im in upstate NY and its just been unbareable for me. Do you think the negative temps take a toll on the springs or struts, or even the car for that matter. Im almost at the point of getting something softer and i just may because i dont wanna be to low when i put the kit on...we need summer !

Hey,

I feel your pain 200%!! I'm in NJ here and my ride on KYB GR2s and Maxspeeds is unbareable. It seems that as the temps drop the gas in the shocks/struts compresses more======> meaning that they absorb less.

I'm at a point of just putting the stock springs back on and leaving it the way it is! But the problem is I don't want to pay for alignment again. What to do, what to do??

Peace.

Eibach Or Sprint Springs?

If you noticed the post that was in the forum recently I posted eibach's or sprint springs? I just wanted to know what everyone thought was better. ALso i wanted to get sprints because they make your car have the "lowered look",unlike eibachs. They all said lower is better. But being that im in NJ and its very very cold, is it worth getting sprints? Because you guys sounds like your not happy with the springs harshness. But my main question is--does your maxima handle like..amazing with the sprints?

I'd rather get in a flame war with SprintMax than ever own Sprints again....and that's saying something.....

It does handle nice, but the ride is crap.
Other springs handle just as well.

If you want it to handle well stiffen up your chassis, get yourself a nice pair of shocks/struts and leave your stock springs in there. Or you could always buy a BMW/MBenz Check this link out for a better explaination http://www.e30m3performance.com/myths/myths.htm.
