Just wondering if anyone here has bought a Hanabi HID Kit off of '97GLES' and and is currently using the kit on their car. If you have how do you like the kit and would you recommend it to others. Any information would be helpful, thanks alot.

Also does anyone have any pics of the kit fully installed and working, I just want to see if all this bs.. about the glare that HID's give off on 4th gens is too intense for oncoming drivers.

thats the 6000 kit, i recommend freddie all the way...

i think 8000 looks the best but 6000 is very good. actually they have the 6500 now, 6000 discontinued...i believe they are very similar, much more affordable but these lights last years...i would go for one i like best and get it over with....if i could do it again....

Think about getting the Hella kits from www.misterjung.com. My girl got me a 5200K kit for Christmas and it works perfectly. It also came with a 18 month warranty from blown bulbs or ballasts. His replacement bulbs are pretty cheap as well, $65 each. I'm in the process of ordering the 7500K blue bulbs from him.

I have the 6500k kit. Freddie (97GLES) is excellent to deal with, a very honest guy and good support.

The kit itself is fine, but the connector for the 9004 harness is clearly an afterthought. You will need to use tape to secure that harness. Other than that, it works great. I would also recommend getting a 20A minifuse and upgrading your two 15A stock fuses.

it's very easy to install. you just clip together a few wires, take out your old bulbs and put in the new ones. then mount the two pieces of hardware someplace in the engine bay.

not too sure on the price... try F/s: New Hanabi Hid Kits

Hanabi makes a great HID kit, true plug and play. Freddie is very reliable and informative. Shipping is very fast.

How can you beat real HID's ranging from 6500k to 8000k for less than $400??? (8000k is $405)

I Was thinking on buying from this guy too cuz they are cheaper. But after researching I found out that the kits that he sells are not 100% hella. The ballast are hella but the bulbs are korean from some unknown brand. I read on a previous post that korean HID bulbs don't last as long as the Phillips or Sylvania. So I think I am gonna go with the Hanabis from freedie.
