leather

I'm currently looking at a very nice 95 gle, it comes standard with leather. I have to keep my car outside all day, in the sun and everything. This car had perfect leather, no cracks or tears. I would like to keep it that way, but I'm afraid the sun will just start to crack it given an amount of time. Do you guys have any suggestions as to keep it so it doesn't? Thank you.

Clean and condition it once a month. Other than that, not much you can do. But don't you think it counts for something that the leather still looks new after 8 years?

Well, the conditioner will help. I would also get the windows tinted to keep the UV's off the leathers, and it will also make your car look nice too.

i use a car cover for sunny days and when i sleep in. But when i go to shcool i use a little windshield cover that i put in the inside and it blocks the sun.

car covers are really easy to put on. It takes me 30 secs.

All the GV's in Australia have leather, and we get plenty of sun. I have never seen a poor GV leather interior yet. The tinting of the glass will help keep UV out, and you guys can tint your glass darker than we can in Australia. What color is it? As most out here are grey, and seem to stand up fine.
All the best.

I tinted my windows and use a sun deflector in my windshield. leather still looks as perfect as it did when I got it but i need to clean and condition it anyways. but the tint will definitely help.
