You have have to twist it REALLY HARD to get it off....You'll think you're gonna break it, but you wont.

I haven't tried it yet. Its on Backorder and won't be in until Tuesday.
I just went to the local Nissan Dealership and told them I wanted a repacement **** for my 20th anniverdary Maxima. It was $79 plus tax.

I thought so. I had paid more for the MOMO shifter I had on my previous Maxima.
Anyways, the shifter looks good, I would have paid over $100 for it.

pic

What does it look like, I went to the nissan dealership and didn't see any SE 20th 5spd's only auto. And would any dealer be able to sell one to me? I have a stock black leather looking one in my 98 and was thinking about changing it.

Finally picked it up today. Its black leather with a silver top which has the gears on it. Real nice. Problem still is, I can't get it off. I tried with pliers, but all the succeeded in doing is mess up my current shifter. I'm going to try with a wrench tomorrow. This things really is not budging.
