Anyone with cut aftermarket springs

I did a search and didn't find much.

I have h&r's and will be having agx's installed on monday.
I saw that a few people have cut their rears...anyone with any experience cutting fronts as well? How much more drop did it give you? How's the ride quality etc?

Thanks
Josh

Buy the correct spring for the ride height you wish to be at.

you didn't find it in the search because this is not a honda board.. most of us here are smart enough not to cut our springs

Yeah you dont want to cut em otherwise you will mess up the compression ratio and they basically will hop all over the place.

I cut one dead coil off my rear Sprint springs to even the drop.

Cutting dead coils is alright, I've had no problem.

cutting dead coils off suspension that doesn't move.. that gets a past..

cutting dead coils off suspension that moves all the time.. that gets a F for Failure.. espescially if its supporting the engine..

Same with me...the dead coils just sit on each other and are in charge of how low the car will sit...I know of some people on here that have cut there eibachs, but i wouldnt reccomend just cutting without knowing what your doing...I cut a full coil off my rears sprints and there even now
