Y-Pipe

I heard that the Budget y-pipe sounds like bees in a can, is it true? Does the Cattman or stillen sound better?

no matter what anyone says.....you will always get a beez in the can sound....its from the flex section that aftermarket companies use...so to answer your question, yes stillen and cattman both have beez in the can sound....GL

I have a Budget Y Pipe - purchased in November 2002, and it makes almost no sound. The intake makes the most noise - especially at WOT. Definitely no "Bees in a can" noise from it though.

Stillen sounds like bees in a can for more than anything, hacim105's max has a stillen y, custom piping and universal muffler and it would put 747's to shame.

I have a stillen y-pipe with an intake and all I hear is the roar of the engine.
