I fixed it...see below!

Help!

I just installed a new radio into my '96 GXE. It originally had factory radio/cass w/ the CD player below it.

Here's my problem. The front speakers (seem to) work fine. But the rear speakers have no highs coming from them. All I get is bass. It sounds okay from the front of the car, but when sitting in the back seat it sounds like crap. Any ideas. Could it be my radio?

Thanks for any help.

Oooops! Too many buttons!

Well...I fixed it. There are too many features on this radio. I found out that when you turn on the 3D surround sound it will only send bass to the rear speakers. Kinda stupid if you ask me. But, my sound system is back better than ever.

Now for new speakers and an amp.

Well, the problems is the rear speaker probabily don't have any tweeters. I know the bose systems rear speakers are only woofers. A lost of stock systems are like yours; components up front and just woofers in the rear
