Weird suspension noise already new struts and strut mounts
I just have installed new strut mounts and new struts (KYB GR-2) in my '96 Infiniti I30 because the suspension was making some weird noises when hitting potholes on the road, the suspension shop told me that I needed to replace the strut mounts and struts, already replaced and the noise is still there, not so noticeable now, but still there, what can I do now ? The Suspension shop rechecked the suspension and told me that everything is OK, what's wrong here ? Or is this a usual sound for my suspension ? I got a 2001 Nissan Altima and it makes no noise at all !
Thanks for all your responses in advance !

Check your strut bearings. If they are worn or were incorrectly installed, the upper spring perch will move around slightly on the upper strut mount. That causes some clunking noises in the suspension.
It's a very common mistake. Your strut bearings "should" be replaced when you change your suspension.
