Bumper modification for 5th gen muffler

I am looking into getting a 5th gen muffler, but I really don't like how they look with our bumpers (they don't quite fit into the hole in our bumper).

I need to have my rear bumper repainted anyways since it has some scratches (almost like stress cracks in the paint at the corners)... so, if I were to take it to a body shop, could they modify the cutout so that it would fit the 5th gen tailpipe and then just repaint the whole thing? Do you think it would be ridiculously expensive to do this?

Yeah, when I get around to it...I plan on shaving the rear exhaust cut-out to better match the oval exhaust tip of my 5th gen on my 97. I don't think it'd be ridiculously expensive, because it really seems like a do-it-yourself job.

I just took the bumper off. I bought it from a org member and he didnt tell me he cut it perfectly for the 5th gen muffler.(no names). I had to get a new bumper b/c of the stillen kit. I would give it to you but you are probibly far away from me.

Hmmm... I am planning to get a quote from a shop to see how much they will charge me to mod the bumper. But if it is too much, maybe I could get your bumper from you? Greyhound Buslines has really reasonable shipping rates.
