brake service price question

a quick question- just want to know if i am still getting good/fair pricing from my mechanic. I just paid $180 to have all four brake pads replaced (OEM) and two front rotors resurfaced. I would have bought the pads separetly, have i known that i needed them then.
anyway, does this sound fair to you?
btw, i am in brooklyn, ny

thanks!

Re: brake service price question

That's a little above average price for just a front brake service. My friend charges 125 and another friend charges 155 for the same thing. Both are mechanics at different gas stations. This is san francisco area.

Alright price, next time do it yourself and what part of brooklyn are you in, you should go check out the US northeast rooms and come down to a meeting, it would be nice to see a new face, I invite you.

I'm in midwood area, like 5 6 blocks from brooklyn college
