Maximum load limit info using OEM towing equipment from my Australian owners manual. Check your own to ensure its comparable.
Base grade kit
M/T 2933lb
A/T 3010lb
Upper grade kit
M/T 2977lb
A/T 3054lb
Vertical load on coupling device
165lb
Aftermarket kits may affect limits and fitting of an additional trans cooler on Automatics would be a smart move. But IMHO towing decent weight with a non-LSD FWD isn't my idea of fun, especially when its wet (on boatramps etc).
