Custom Midpipe - JWT
Custom Midpipe - JWT
I was thinking of making my own midpipe and then get a JWT cone filter. Sorry for sounding dumb, do I need anything else besides the components for making the intake?
Thanks

you need the cone filter and MAF adapter for the pop charger part...then if you plan on making the mid pipe, you need the various items that can be found in the write up (search would be more helpful than me)....

if you order the jwt popcharger, then it comes with the maf adapter so don't worry about that...
you'll need to find a way to attach the pipe to the intake manifold, and to the other side of the maf.
also need a different filter for the breather, or a hose going into your throttle body.

Thats exactly what I did (no pics yet)
I made a hybrid intake (short piping and cool air) I bypassed the first resinator and ran piping to under the car where a ton of air flows

here is the scoup that runs under the car

I had already made a midpipe for the stock box, so I just shortened it a little so the JWT filter would sit right above the lower half of the stock air box and at least get fed some cool air

My intake manifold is still staying cool so this really does work, I hope to get some pics of it soon.
