Clear bumper lenses...

Hi again. Woo hoo 3rd post! Damn I feel like a n00b.

I'm looking into changing the orange bumper lenses to clear. Can you guys give me tips on how to change them. I'd also like to know where there are good deals on da intarweb or if it's better just to buy them from a store? Help! Thanks in advance!

i bought mine off of e-bay. $35 shipped to my door. but that was including 8.5% tax for instate orders (CA). make sure u get the crystal clear (diamond cut) ones and not the old foggy ones. they look better...

Yeah, ebay has them cheaper. I paid $35. shipped also. No sales tax though, so check there.

Thanks guys. I took a look on ebay.com. There's some pretty good deals on there. I almost did a bid one on of them but ebay.com's not working for me right now. @#$!@$

It's as easy as you think it is... My thoughts on the anti-theft instructions on maximadriver.com are this - they're sound, but what's going to happen is they'll probably damage your car more trying to get them out. I did the anti-theft bolt originally and I haven't changed it just because I don't live somewhere I think they would get stolen. Honestly, if they did, I'm only out $30. It's better than a(nother) bumper repaint and possibly new wiring and clears.

Two types of clears....

Be aware that there are two types of clears:

Clear/clears (usually called diamond cut clears)

Foggy/clears (or opaque)

Hope that makes sense.

The DC clears look better in my opinion.

Ooops, sorry DigDug... just saw your post.
