to the author of this thread- how come your ambers are so bright during the day? i have sylvania orange bulbs (normal stuff) and i dont think theyre really noticeable during the day. you said you didnt rewire right?

i had REALLY bright white corner lights and i loved the way i could see the side of the road (DEER ARE DANGEROUS).
but i got sick of the all white thing. to me , its played out. sure, before i started doing stuff to the car, i was all about getting clear lens and putting white lights in them. but now, i think amber is the more conservative thing and it gives the car a more subtle and mature look.

but, the point of changing stock amber things isnt always to totally get rid of orange color altogether. during the day, orange stock corner lens and tails kind of stick out and thats why we take them out. actually theres nothing wrong with orange. if you had a true jdm car and it had orange lens, would you go taking all those out? i wouldnt.

I think it only looks good when the orange is really bright. It just looks weird when its yellowish orange.

I have no idea why my corners are so bright, like i said before, the only thing I have rewired are my fogs. When I first put them in (which were int eh day time), I asl aske dmyself why they were so bright. The "hyper whites" I had before were no where close. I dont know whats going on. LoL

I had my clearance lights rewired when I had white PIAA lights, but when I installed the orange ones they were too bright and I did not like them. So I returned then to the stock configuration, and they looked better.

My corner light configuration has not been touched, and mine are bright as hell compared to yours.

When you turn on your blinkers, do the clearance lights become brighter?

Yup, it was very mismatched. Also as a side note, the HIDs in real life have more of a bluish tint to it, you know hwo digi cams cant capture everything.
My digicam captures EVERYTHING... Kinda ****es me off at times because it makes everything look so dirty and it's only 3.2MP...
