Re: i crashed my maxima
I have bought several Honda Radios by referring to http://www.car-part.com and have had good luck overall. They list all salvage yards and all parts. I have not had needed to buy the other parts.

there is a '96 SE being parted out in the 4th gen classified section. check with the guy selling that to see if you can get the front support off of the car.

they do 100% guaranteed to match paint jobs and body parts - they have awesome pricing, too - hood, painted, for like $200.
They usually have auctions on EBay for maxima parts that are about 40% off what they charge on their website.

i don't know about u guys, but ever since i got my maxima, it's been a target since day one. Can u believe that on that first day, I went to the car wash and a huge f%^&in cadillac was about to reverse and hit my front. He would've taken me out. What's up with these people trying to mash my ish up? Anyways guy, good luck with the max.

Teh radiator supposrt is what I'm assuming that you're referring to. That's a part that needs to be welded into the car. Do you have insurance on the car? The best thing to do would be to take it to a body shop and just have them do the work. And beware of aftermarket sheet metal. The parts tend to not line up very well a lot of times. And the hoods are generaly thiner metal and tend to "wave" at highway speeds, meaning that teh hood is flexing because of the wind. Just my .02 though.

So I am about ready to officially give up driving--I'm finally sick of having other people's trash hitting my car. On the PA turnpike westbound a chunk of metal flew off a flatbed and into my front bumper then bounced up and off my hood. I guess I'm lucky it didn't come through the windshield, but geez. So with my turn signal hanging out like an eyeball, I used a shoe string to get me to a service plaza--just call me McGuyver. Now I am riding around in a duct tape diva to hold the light in until all is ready at the shop. Kinda makes me happy I haven't invested any extra money into my car, that would really irk me. Thanks for letting me ramble.

But I decided my insurance was covering it anyway, so I used a local body shop.
Talking to them, it seemed like a greeat deal - but I guess you get what you pay for.
