New Triple Gauge Pillars --Pics--

Just received a sample of our new triple gauge pods for 4th and 5th Maxima's. Check out the photos below. They replace your factory pillar and will accomodate the factory speakers with a pop out plate. We need to test fit these and then tell the factory to pump them out. A shipment of several hundred should be in stock in a month. You guys asked for it and CustomMaxima.com made it happen.

Damnet!!! If only this had come out about a month ago. This looks significantly cleaner then doing a dual + single pod and bolting it onto the stock pillar. Oh well, I can still drool over the Hiding from Kashaggio SS functional hood!

MC Broke as fu<k!

I avoid EBay at pretty much all costs, unless the seller has over 1000 good feedbacks with only 1 or 2 negs, or it's something under $50

oh **** thats awesome! no drilling, pre fitted and color matched!

now i just gotta figure out what gauges i want...

Oil Pressure
Boost\Vacuum
Voltage

Are fuel pressure or mixture usefull for a NA car?

greg, which series gauges do you sell? can you get the boost\vac gauge in the same white as the oil pressure and voltage?

uhh, vacuum is a GREAT indicator of engine reserve power and potential problems? why do you think people use vacuum test gauges on NA engines? obviously i would not get any boost for being NA, but it is hard to find straight vacuum gauges, plus there is nothing wrong with a vacuum\boost gauge working on an NA car.

I will do my best to get the price for you asap just need to hear back from the manufacturer. The size of the pods is 2 1/6" and we are working on stocking many new types of gauges to offer a larger selection for you all.

Thanks for all your positive feedback, its reassuring to hear that our hard efforts for the Maxima crowd are appreciated.

Yeah, but will they be available in 'fuzzy' for us '95/'96 GLE owners?

Couldn't you get the triple gauge pillar and just replace the passenger side pillar with a 97-99 plastic one?

Max4Speed always has parts like that for sale...

go to a hoddy shop. pick up the fuzzy stuff for the model trains sets. use glue in a spray can and sprinkle teh fuzzy stuff from the hobby shop on the gauges pillar and there you go fuzzy pillars.

frined did this with autometer pods to match fuzzy interior in a differnt car.

Thanks for the idea. I'm just joking around. I'm not one for having a million gauges up and down my pillar. I probably should get gauges but if/when I do, they will be in a hidden location. I don't like people to know I am boosted when I pull up to them. Same reason I do but don't want an intercooler. I like the element of surprise. Like the look on that mid-life-crises balding guy in his Z3 the other day.

Me and JoesMax drove up to CT and tested out the new triple gauge pod on my 98. Here are some pictures that Greg snapped while we were there.
I think it looks great. Fits perfectly....nice and clean.

I call CM.com today, 3/25, and was told they'd be in stock in 1 month. What's the real wait time going to be? Anyone taking the under with an over/under at 6 weeks for $100?
