Question about Sprint springs with Stillen lip

Who ever is running sprint springs with a stillen lip, I want to know how easy it is getting around town and up and down driveways with the lip. A lot of bottoming out? I mean I sometimes slightly scrape my bumper on things and I just have it lowered, no kit yet. Whats the deal. Good Idea?

I had the stillen lip on my car. Pics on homepage. I never really had any problems around town with the lip. When you have the lip on, you just have to be more careful and go at angles when going over speed bumps and entering drive ways.

You'll scrape on anything that isn't mildly inclined (ie. badly designed driveways that you can't go up at a 45 degree angle). I do if I'm not careful and I'm on eibachs. Sprints is like another .5 inch.

any slanted driveway that you can fit a car thru will allow you to go up at an angle, just do it right. practice
dont worry about it now, get the stuff put on and then force yourself to learn to tackle those slants

I tried running the stock struts/shocks with the sprints and the back ones blew within a week.

It is impossible to get up some driveways. The angle doesn't always make it possible.

It isn't too bad with the front lip... you just have to be carefull and be glad it is polyurathane.

I have sprints with stock shocks for a year, and the ride is kinda bouncy and one of my struts blew. I suggest that you save up for some Koni's or AGX's. Also I have sprints with my Stillen kit, and I don't scrape that much. Even if I do, it only scrapes on the bottom of the kit, and you cant see the scatches.

Forget about about streets and driveways....

What do you lowered/kit people do for oil changes and brake jobs ext. Do you have trouble getting a jack under car ? Do you have problems driving into a bay at a shop ? Has anyone been towed with the kit, did you make it up the flat bed ? I have sprints with kit on the way and my stock jack wont even lift car off the ground, i couldnt change my rims...
