Crank shaft postion sensor
#2
Crankshaft position sensor senses the position of the crank shaft. Theres 2 of them, one where the engine meets the transmission near the radiator, the other is near the drive belts above the steel oil pan. You can get one from the damn dealers. They're expensive though. Looking at over $100 for one.

If you can locate them on your car, you can easily do it yourself. I would not take it to the dealer because they will charge you an arm and a leg. I had this prblem as well, but I had a friend (Papasmurf) install them for me. I was under the car with him, and if I can remember correctly, with one of them, youneed to remove the plastic engine protector on the bottom of the car to get to it.

I replaced my ref one, all you need to do is take the right front wheel off and take off the plastic guard, then it's right there. I got mine $80 from the dealer, but since I'm getting my engine swapped, I think I'm going to come out with a few extras.
