To those who have the 7" screen from Redmax

My question is is there a way to set it up or wire it such that it doesn't turn on everytime I start the car. I just want it to come on when I put in a DVD, or when I use the remote. Is there a way to do it with out installing a switch in the power line? Thanks.

i'm not sure how the wiring diagram is for those units but it's simple... just a run a wire that's directly connected from your battery to the LCD! not hard at all... just gotta get that wire through the firewall. Oh, and don't forget to put a fuse in that circuit.

Hmmmm, ya, I definitely got that part. If you read my post, I do NOT want the screen to come on everytime I turn on my car. The screen didn't come with instructions, and the remote power switch doesn't turn the monitor off. Any help?!

The only way to do it is to put a switch in the line to stop the screen from being blue when your not watching it.
