Stop the engine from rusting

Hello, I recently got a car with a great shiny engine and surrounding parts. Now Im starting to notice some spots rusting. Im just wandering what are good engine cleaning techniques that can stop this. Thanks in advance

Where is it rusting ,because the engine,mounts,and brackets are aluminum ?
