valve cover oil leak, any body with this?

hi guys, i found 2 oil leaks...one is to RH valve cover of my engine, and the another one is from aluminium oil pan(ouch).

I will replace the valve gasket this weekend any suggestion?? or someone with this problem before??? (for my luck, i have already remove the upper manifold, etc, so i know how to do it, and save 178 box for ir)

My left bank valve cover gasket is leaking too. I wish I had known that when I installed my VI. Oh well. I may replace it. Let me know how yours goes and good luck. Are you gonna get a valve job while you have the valves off the car? Make sure you scrape all the old gasket material off and that the two surfaces are completely clean and square/level.

My valve cover leaked oil, you need to take it off and replace the gaskets with OEM or use silicone gasket from pepboys. That should fix the problem.

Not really sure, are they washers under the bolts that hold the valve cover? Where'd you read/hear about them. If I get a chance, I'll dig my FSM (factory service manual) out and post what it says.

I assume so. I didn't think they even came off the valve cover. Maybe mine was just stuck.
