first few mods when getting new car`

what mods would you first buy for your maxima se 5 speed most likely a 95-96, used car from a lot. or even from someone, i was thinking of long term mods what would u first buy toward getting high quality performance out of your maxima. many of my friends can't understand why it is that i choose to go with a maxima, but hopefully i'll be able to show them how funny it is when i kick there *****. my friend has a v6 camaro 94 5 speed, and my other friend has a 2002 trans am 6 speed, another has a 2003 grand am se (ram air), one has a volkswagon vr6 or something like that 5 speed, which one of these do i have to worry about the most? and how much money would it normally cost to get a maxima safely to mid 13's on a basis determined by the car being in good running condition. i mean that as it has low mileage and it's a A1 car.

Do u guys think this car is right for me, i'm 19 in college and i like the way they look, and i also drove the altima 2002 and loved the way it performed, it was only the 2.5 tho, but it was very nice, indeed i fell in love with nissan's after that the only car i liked from nissan was the skyline, but i like there whole production now it seems.

well i hope you're gonna get a max because YOU think it's right for you. as far as making your way to the mid 13's, you have a long way to go. i doubt there is anyway you could come close to that number without forkin over at least 5 or 6 grand.

frankencar intake
budget y-pipe
catback exhaust
ACT clutch
Nitrous kit
GOOD DRIVING = 13s

turbo kit = 12s or even 11s????

You should beat the camaro, grand am, and vr6. But Trans Am, forget it. Those things are sick. Do all the mods I listed and practice driving a lot and you might stay with him if he's bone stock.
