Shift knobzzzz

any one have pics of their aftermarket shift *****? and anyone know if i can get one like a ferraris chrome ball? and if so how much and where?

also for the short shifters sold on ebay, would the same shift **** also fit? and how hard is the install of the shift ****...

here are the questions in order lol
1) Pics of ur after market shift *****?

2) can i get a ferrari style shift ****? (chrome ball) if yes how much and where?

3) short shifters on ebay, will the same after market shift know i get for the stock shifter fit?

4) how good are the SS's sold on ebay, and how hard is the install? thanks

hmm is that going to fit a max too? and will it fit a short shifter? im also interested in the 25th anniv shifter ****, anyone have one for sale?

the sola luna will fit because the thread is the same as nissan so it just screws right on. I have one in black. maybe check www.custommaxima.com for the aniversary ****

i looked at the sola luna ****, something about the style just didnt grab me... i am getting my momo race satin tomorrow. will be installing that, the momo boot and a b&m sts all at once.

I have the sola luna **** in crinkle black, I wanted it after seeing Requin's pic. be aware that it does have a texture to it that you can't really see in the pic. I thought it was gonna be smooth but it's all good. Requin has the pacesetter short shifter and it DOES sit lower than stock.

That's what I have. It makes the shifter alittle shorter with the stock shifter. Very nice feel to it and it looks awesome imo.

the only thing I dont like about universal fit ***** are those little set screws, just doest seem secure. love the momo race style but its the direct fit threads that sold me on the sola lunas.

i agree. and i am not quite sure what it is about the sola lunas, they just dont grab me the same way.

the **** is VERY secure, no probs at all, i am very impressed. it is the momo race satin. and the boot fits great too.

it was pretty tough, most people will tell you to heat it up with a heat gun or blow drier to sort of melt the glue that is around the thread. I used a big red wrench, i think it was made for plumbing who knows, but i got a good grip with it and twisted hard, i pretty much destroyed the stock know so if you want to save it , use a towel or some crap. I got the one in that pic from rspeed, it fit perfectly becuase the miata and maxima have the same thread size or whatever

sounds good can the top of the boot be stretched over the bottom of the shift ****? or am i asking for too much now lol
