Hood Scoop That Works

Where Do You Get these?? and how to install? do you have to have a new hood...Does a scoop with a short ram intake related to it push more power then a CAI that goes outside the engine bay?
I've seen this one guy from CA in maxima.org who has one...

thats me.

I have a hoop scoop which i USE-To Claim It did something.

Im still working on the forced air induction , its made from fiberglass and the scoop i bought off ebay and installed my self.

It really add no power yet with just the scoop, it may idle a little lower on the highway and the intake ~rumble~ is a little louder too.

me happy

Nope Lotta Hail Damage. Ive probably got the cheapest car on the org. It cost 4000.00 w/90,000 miles & yes i accidently backed into a yellow side walk pole which wrinkled the entire back quater.

just wait till this spring. well have paint to match it.
yes i still roll the max with 3 different colors and primer.

damn, thats some wicked hail. My car costed me 4500 with 181,000 miles on 5 sp 95, but im willing to throw a less mile motor in when this one goes, but i dont thinik it'll be going that fast, it runs great.

does the hood scoop take waterinto the motor? i woudl think it does.

When I initially registered, I registered as MaxPayne, then realized someone else who posted every once in a while had the same name, so I PMed a Moderator or Administrator to just change my name and keep my post count and profile the same. He changed it within the next 24 hours.

bobjohnson-you probably would've gotten better results if you would've positioned the scoop over the intake, or atleast funneled the air... now you just have scoop.
