Suspension or Wheels: which would you do first?

I'm going to get either Sprints or KYB AGX's or 17 inch Konig Verdicts in the Opal finish, but I can't decide which to do first. I'm not sure that it matters, but i'm indecisive. Thanks again.
Kevin.

suspension definitely. Wheels won't look as good with the 4x4 look.

Suspension. Your car will no longer look like a monster truck. It will handle much better. Plus for the wheels and tires you'll spend much more. But if that's the case spend 200 at www.cattman.com and get the rear anti sway bar. go to ebay and get a front strut bar for like $20-40. and you'll be set.
Then the only thing you'll feel around any corner is wheel roll.

Get rid of the wheelgap first.

definitely go with the drop first. it still looks good with your stock rims. if you went with the verdicts first then there'd be "the gap" that a large majority of max owners can't stand.

Don't make the same mistake that I did. I got wheels first and after the first day of having them, I really regretted it. For some reason, aftermarket wheels/tires make the wheelgap look even bigger and the car looked like a crossover SUV. Stock wheels with a drop look pretty sporty so get it dropped for sure and worry about the wheels later.

My 1.15 cents (2cents, after taxes)....

With shocks & struts you get 2 benefits - better looks and better handling.

With wheels, you only get looks.

I did the same thing. My wheels looked great OFF of the car, but when I put them on (with the same tires I had on my OEM rims) it drew more attention to the HUGE wheelgap up front. Now I have the springs to make it all look good, but I wish I had done that a while ago- before I went with new rims.

I agree with what all the others suggested - suspension first.

I actually got my wheels first (only because I didn't have money for springs/shocks AND rims at the time). With my Enkei's on, my Max was just begging to be dropped!

you see plenty of new rim only/no drop guys on the streets. it just doesnt look right. its like the person wants to just make the car look good but didnt know where to start.

id rather drive with stock 16's and a drop than the most beautiful rims on 4x4 stance

you don't want your car to look like mine??? On the bright side, I finally was able to drop my baby. Now, I just need to take pics. I agree with the rest. I should have dropped it first.
