My wife backed her Maxima into my Maxima!

Now I don't want to kill her, I just want to beat her to within an inch of her life. She scratched the back bumber up pretty good and she dented my fender.

Make her shop at Wal-Mart instead of the mall for a year. And buy her a Corolla and make her park it on the street.

My dad backed my moms new 5th gen Maxima into his 3rd gen. Mom cried, we laughed, my brother fixed both cars.

One week later, mom backs her car out of the garage and comes back inside holding her right side mirror in her hand. That time she laughed!

My mom did that to me TWICE when I parked in front of my parents home. For some reason, she doesn't like to look back... Now every time I visit, if she is taking out her car, I have to tell her "DON'T HIT MY CAR!"

She wanted to turn it into our insurance and say it was a hit and run. I would still have to pay my deductible, which would defeat the purpose. I was thinking I could tell them some idiot hit my car, since that really wouldn't be lying. She is an idiot.

My wife did the same to my 4th gen a couple of weeks ago. Nothing serious, but I used to have perfect bumpers on my 95.

Marriage is when nice, sensitive guys find out that in their heart they are wife beaters.

You know the first thing a woman should do when she gets out of the battered women's shelter?

The dishes if she knows what's good for her!

It's just a joke guys, don't be a hater.

What do you tell a woman with two black eyes?

Nothing you haven't told her twice already.

It's a car man. Do you really feel like that toward your wife? I do feel your pain about the ride though.

No, but if I just said I was really mad at her it wouldn't have been as colorful.

I think something similar has happened to everyone.

My girlfriend hit her car with my car (I was in the passanger seat, drunk). Her car has a steel bumper, no damage. Both doors on my passangers side were dented pretty badly. I was too drunk to care, so she got mad at me Since I don't have comprehensive insurance, I couldn't get it all fixed.. but her cousin has a body shop so he did it pretty inexpensively.

And I thought I was in pain when I let my mom take my max out for a spin around the block, and imagined her foot held down on the clutch like, 150 feet before a turn/stop.

You guys got it bad :/ Makes ya wonder about love/hate relationships

Yeah I remember I parked my 2nd gen behind my moms Volvo and she backed into it , no damage. But came in the house yelling at me saying my car was in her way and it was my fault she backed into my car. WTF! Yeah that sucked.

Install an "Autopark 2000" ( also called a SmartPark 2000). It's a small rear-mounted radar device to help prevent backing up into things. It beeps when you're within about 4ft of something (adjustable). You can pick one up on E-bay for less than $30.00.
And it will be really fun to see your wife's insulted face when you install for her.

Is that bad? I mean I usually put the clutch in a while before a sign or light.

It's 'bad' if you hold it in (ie, ride the clutch) all the way up to the stop. It's not bad if you engage/disengage the clutch quickly just to neutral drop, which, amusingly enough, my mom refuses to do because she's convinced riding in neutral is "illegal".

I can't see why it's bad to 'ride the clutch', aside from straining the spring and pressure plate? Is that it? I've been doing that for all my life and my clutch life has been as normal as anyone else's.

It is bad to ride a clutch. Accept this as fact. It's like trying to argue against the law of gravity. Trust me.

When you ride the clutch, it is partially engaged, which means the clutch is slipping. Slipping = friction, which leads to premature wear, which leads to $$$$$ parted from you and your wallet. . .

Maximafromohio - sorry about the cars. My family suffered a similar "driveway incursion" years ago - I think this is a pretty common occurence, unfortunately.

It's an important wake-up call to remember one of the key fundamentals of driving - namely: always look in the direction the vehicle is traveling, whether forwards or backwards

-at least nobody got hurt.

Damm you must be wife beater or some kind....... what if your wife don’t cook at all because it is very dark? You could die of hunger. That’s not good solution.
