Where do you put jack stands?
Where do you put jack stands?
I really hate asking this question for a few reasons but the search function is disabled and my car is on the jack right now soooo......
I'm not sure where to place my jack stands on the front side of the car. I looked where I thought was the frame and as I lowered it down, it seemed to be a bit weak. Can someone help me out? Where would I put the stand in relation to the jack point?
Thanks!

Use a floor jack to lift at the middle front of the car. There's
a pointy projection at the front end of the support member that
runs under the engine from front to back that the cradle of the jack
pushes on. The jack stands go just behind the front wheel well
between the two notches in the metal seam that runs the length of the side of the car between the wheels. The seam sit on the stands.
The problem is if you are attempting to use the scissor jack that
comes with the car because it needs to be placed at the same spot
as the stands!

Thank you!! I'm using a hydro jack, just didn't realize there was a spot in the middle to put it! I will try that out now.
Thanks again!
