Got My RSB installed have a question

I have a 99 SEL. I put on the RSB today. But I had to take off a bracket holding the Ebrake line. The bracket seemed to be exactly where the RSB plates needed to be mounted. Is this normal?
BTW. It does make a noticable difference. Cannot believe how much it stiffened up the rear end.

It's a Progress. On both sides I disconnected the bracket. But on the passenger side the exhaust was in the way as well.
