.....I have a kit installed right now, ut don't really like where it is. They mounted it on the passenger side almost level to the top of the seat. I had told them to mount it there because that is where I had a phone mounted is my last car, but it was a Bonneville and had a lot more room. Anyway, I was wondering if anybody had theirs mounted anywhere else. I was thinking about moving it to the left side between the stereo and the steering wheel but I wasn't sure if they could make a bracket to fit between the black consol material and the rest of the dash. Any input would be welcome and appreciated.

Hey morris, I have a hands free kit that I installed, I place the speakers under the dash and the phone is in the middle consol under the arm rest. I have the Nokia 6190 so when the phone rings you dont have to take your hands of the wheel.. it answers on the second ring, also hangs it self up after the other line hangs up, So putting it in the middle consol was ok beening you dont have to touch it.

Take a look at http://www.pro-fit-intl.com do a search for your car, and they also have pics. They sell ones that go between the radio trim and the dash, but that is for the right side of the dash. if you want it on the left side you could purchase one of the lexus ones and custom fit it on the left. I have done this many times. The lexus one is a simple one to modify(no strange bends) hope this helps

Mine was $150 + $50 for installation.

It was one of the best things I have bought for my car. You don't have to worry about holding the phone, so it leaves both hands free. From what every body tells me. it sounds fine on the other end.

Does anyone have a handsfree kit for the 8260? I'd like to get one but haven't been able to find one. I know that one will be made eventually, but I didn't know if anyone would already have one installed.
