Remove pinstriping?

I want to take my pinstriping off but i am afraid it will leave bad marks...paint is in good condition as it has been in NorCal for all of its existance...any ideas?

I removed mine and it looks much better It did leave an outline from where the stripe was, but it seems to have faded. I barely noticed it before, now I don't notice it. If you do try taking it off, make sure it's nice and warm. It will be tough to take off in the cold.

In NorCal its always nice and warm; 70 today. But Im worried about it looking worse with the fading!

From: norcal
use a hairdryer to help heat up the pin stripe, then slowly peel it off

just my opinion.....I say take it off. Only someone like yourself, that knew the stripe was there, would look hard enough to see it. If there is a fade line, it's probably not going to stand out.

heat it up, peel it off and then get some goo gone to remove all the wax and sticky residue that is left

I think you can get it at walmart. check around the cleaning supplies. I actually used aerosol window cleaner(the foam kind). It works great....if you can't find goo gone
