Y-pipe removal problems

I've got all the bolts off the first pre-cat but how the heck do you reach the bolts on the rear pre-cats?

I read the instructions on removing the y-pipe from the FAQ but my pipe is still connected by the 2nd pre-cat

You will need "swivel sockets". Swivel sockets are sockets that have built in swivels on them, making the overall length smaller to reach in tight places. With the use of these, with extenstions, you will have no problem. Most garages have them and may be able to let you borrow them...

a really giant breaker bar works PERFECT! I borrowed one from a shop that was like 3 feet long and it reached the bolts fine and they came right off.
