Check Engine Light

I just spent $519 at the nissan dealership for a alternator,a pulley,and two belts and a few days later the check engine light comes on Im going to take it back to dealer to see what happen. 97SE

get the codes urself and see if u can figure out wats wrong

I'm sure you'd be saving a lot of money by checking it out yourself - you can even use the money you save on MORE parts

Look for a topic here in the 4th generation Maxima forum thats listed as Important: ECU Fault Code Diagnosis..... It will be near the top with the other important forum stuff...... it explains it alot better than I can, and it also has a link to help after you get the code to figure out what it is. Let us know what the code is....
