I posted it the 4sale section but no luck,so if you have a 95-96 stock cat{with the hole 4 the o2 sensor}.Email me and tell me how much you will sell it... Emax1995@yahoo.com .In case your wondering why I want it,it's because I am switching my Exaust over from my Max to my I30 and the I30's Cat does not have a hole for the o2 sensor.

Why not get an RT 2.5" cat?

Instead of putting the stock one back on wouldn't you want more performance offered through the RT-cat? If you are going to put a cat on, get the most power you can...

It would probably be easier to get an RT cat, b/c it's illegal to sell a used cat. This doesn't really apply to private individuals, but junkyards probably won't sell them.

I allready have a RT {read my sig}

Thats the hole point behind this because I want to put my RT cat in my 98 I30 which is curently in my 95 Max,the problem is the 95 RT cat has a o2 sensor in it and the my stock 98 cat does not.I can just buy a o2 sensor plug for my RT cat and put it on my I30 but then I will not have a Cat for my 95 because my 98 Cat has no o2 sensor.Get it?I wonder if I could drill a hole in my 98 cat to make room for a hole for a o2 sensor.Do you think it is possible to do?And how?Thanks.

Yeah, have a seperate RT cat for both cars

I am sure your local muffler shop can put a plug in your stock 98 cat. Either they could do that or put a plug in a new RT cat that you would put on your I30 while you leave the RT cat that is already on your Maxima. Can you afford the price of a new RT cat or look on the For Sale section for somebody selling one that would fit your car? You could then modify it (plug it) and put it on your I30.

What do you think? It can be done but how do you want to do it?
