brakes

brakes

hey, recently ive been hearing these slight squeeling noises when i brake...not the loud ear piercing ones when u kno the pads are reduced to dust...is it time to replace brake pads? any info would be appreciated pplz, thx in advance.

Pull your rims and see if the pads have any material left. I'm not too familiar with maximas brakes (they are so reliable and long lasting) but they should have wear indicators built into the pad.

Could be just brake dust. Or if it's a continues squeeling sound even while not applying the brakes, you could have a locked caliper.
