Question about FrankenCar install....

I put my intake on my new 96 SE 5speed yesterday but today I realized that I forgot one thing after I put it on. The O-ring for the MAF. Is this really needed? Should I put it in or can I do without it? I drove it this morning and everything was fine but I just wanna make sure incase anything happens in the future?

I would still suggest to find or buy a new one and put it back on. MAFs are something you dont want to have problems with for shure
