My car has a few dings in it, and I think the clear coat has peeled off in a tiny area near the black trim around the window (1sq. inch maybe). Anyone know of a good way to get tiny dings the size of a dime out of the hood, fender, door etc? Also, could I just buy some clear coat w/a pen style tip and go over the area that isn't covered? It'll probalby look bad, but it'll be a little more protected. The dings are my main concern though. I think someone gave my parents "The Ding King" as a joke over the holidays, any one ever tried this?

Oh ok so NOBODY here has any dings in their car?! Yeah right! You know you have a tiny one that you see everytime you wash the car and just hate to look at it! At least thats how I feel.

NO!!! We don't have dings...only YOU!! J/K I'm looking for a good place too. I think I'm going to wait til I get my body kit/spoiler so I can take it to the paint shop once and get it all done at one time.

HAHAHA! Grrrrr. I don't wanna have to take it to a body shop to get them taken care of! They're so tiny but annoying when the cars clean and shiny! ARGHHH

I hear ya!! I do have one that's pretty noticable...I was sent out on a deployment last year and let my fiancee borrow my car. Well when she wasn't driving it she let her dad keep it at his house for storage...One windy day he had parked it under a tree (she went up to visit him and told him he should move it - but he didn't) and YUP a big branch fell off and hit the rear passenger door (right at the top). That's one big reason why I have to take it to a shop. Other than that dent I only have little dings.

I have the Ding King and it does really work. It may take a few tries if the ding is bigger, but it does work.

Where and how much is the ding king?

Will the "ding king" take dents out of thinker metal...say on the door between the roof of the car and the window. If it can I'd like to get one. Let us in on your secret...

I got my Ding King from Checkers for about 25 bucks. One thing though, your car needs oem paint. if you repainted your car it will not work. Ding King uses a special glue to secure the puller to your car. if the surface is repainted it will not adhere correctly and may damage your paint. it hasn't damaged my paint and has taken out the dings or at least made them a lot lot smaller.
I don't think it will work on the b-pillar between the doors. that metal is a bit thicker. it works better on doors and quarter panels.
I saw another ding puller that uses a suction cup as well. that may work better, but haven't tried it myself.
btw, i know that professional body shops use a suction cup with an adhesive as well so the second kit may actually work better than the ding king if you can find it. sorry, forgot what it was called.

Ya, I have a baseball size dent behind my passenger side rear wheel well, and 2-3 dings in the doors. I think I'll get them all fixed this summer, when I'm working on my car, and have the $$$. I also need to get the front end touched up, lots of scratches. Sigh...
